Electric Motor Rewind Mechanic / Technician

An established Canadian company needs Electric Motor Rewind Mechanics/Technicians who will be based in Alberta Canada.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:
·Rewinding industrial and commercial electric motors, pumps and apparatus
·maintaining, testing, rebuilding and repairing electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electrical apparatus, both AC and DC
·using testing and measuring equipment
·replacing or reconditioning shafts, bearings and other components
·using hand or power tools, such as drill presses and soldering equipment etc.
·Observe all safety procedures and use proper P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment)

Minimum Job Requirements/Qualifications:
·2 years experience in electrical motor rewinding, repairing and rebuilding.
·engineering or vocational graduate or equivalent
·Good communication skills both oral and written in the English language
