Role Objective: Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist Physicians in performing complex Radiology procedures

Skill Sets:
•Well versed with modalities of Imaging.
•Well versed with Digital technology and has had an exposure in it.
•Knowledge of Image Guided Intervention procedure.
•Computer knowledge

Principal Duties & Key Tasks:
•Assist Radiologists, operate the equipments and perform various complex procedures like MRI, CT etc.
•Maintenance and upkeep of all related equipment of the department used in radiology, ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI and Fluoroscopy.
•Assist consultants in carrying out various imaging procedures including image guided biopsies, drainage, spinal injections.
•Ensure consent form is filled and explained to the patient by the doctor.
•Maintain effective communication and ensure that patient is properly informed and prepared for the tests and procedures.
•To ensure minimal wastage of films and repeat examinations.
•To observe and respect the privacy and confidentiality of patients, visitors and physicians
•Take active part in departmental quality initiatives.
•Generation of departmental MIS.
•To attend to emergency call during and after working hours.
•Ensure that the consent form is signed .
•Ensure QC check done before sending off a patient after the investigation.
•Ensure Portable X-Rays are done as fast as possible while maintaining high quality.
•Adherence to departmental policies and the radiation safety program.
Computer Literate

Experiance Range:
•3-10 YEARS
•Saudi Health Council classification and licensing desirable / to obtain certication through online prometric Test for the specialty.
